Connecting the NuVo Grand Concerto to the Leviton OmniPro II or Lumina Pro
 

When connecting the NuVo Grand Concerto to the Leviton OmniPro II or Lumina Pro, an RS-232 Line Booster or Optical Isolator must be used as follows:

 (See attached diagram for additional information)

·         RS-232 Line Booster or RS-232 Optical Isolator (B&B Electronics Model 232LB9R or Model 9POP4, or equivalent) must be connected within 7 feet of the HAI controller.

          When connecting the B&B Electronics Model 232LB9R or Model 9POP4 to the HAI controller: 

o     Using a 36A05-4 Serial Connectivity Kit, connect the 36A05-3 Modular Adapter to the DB-9 connector marked “DCE”. 

o     Connect the 36A05-3 to a serial port on the controller using a 7 foot cable.

o     Using the 36A05-2 HLC PIM to PC Kit, connect the 36A05-1 Modular Adapter to the DB-9 connector marked “DTE”.

o     Power the B&B Electronics Model 232LB9R or Model 9POP4 using a 12VDC power adapter (B&B Electronics Model 232PS).

         Connect a modular cable (50 feet maximum) between the 36A05-1 and the Grand Concerto. 

·         Using a 36A05-4 Serial Connectivity Kit, connect the 36A05-3 Modular Adapter to the DB-9 connector on the Grand Concerto.  

·         Connect one end on the modular cable to the 36A05-1 and the other end to the 36A05-3 as shown in the attached diagram.
